Your Workplace Charging
The Workplace Charging Scheme is a government initiative for electric vehicles from the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV).
This scheme is available to any business, charity or public authority with off-street parking.
You don’t even need to show proof of an electric vehicle but you will need to clarify why it is needed for the business.
Due to the government changing the workplace grant scheme on 24th July 2018, you can now get £350 to £14,000 towards your workplace charger.
You can claim for up to 40 charge-point sockets on the Workplace Charge Scheme but you can’t back-claim for old charge stations.
Contact us for more information or for a free no-obligation site visit.
Is your business eligible for the OLEV WCS grant?
Providing you can declare a need for electric vehicle charging equipment or an intent to encourage uptake among your staff and/or fleet, then most likely yes.

Electrical check of supply circuit including RCD disconnection times and test buttons.
Full report describing any faults/issues found with any associated costings attached, if necessary.
This service plan would be well worth considering if in high-use/public/staff use areas, as the nature of use of a charging point, in-particular its lead and connectors will inevitably become worn/damaged over time.
Larger/more complex systems may require a more involved service, which we can discuss with you at any time, feel free to get in touch.
At Plug and Go, our after-sales service is second to none. We will always endeavour to be only a phone call/email away from assisting you with any queries you may have.
However, you may feel that a further level of care is required for your charging point. For this, we can offer a service plan, on an annual fee basis, starting from as little as £75p/year for a basic single phase, single socket charging point unit.
This service plan will get you the following:
Full visual check of the charging point casing, lead, plug/socket connector and any exposed supply cabling.
Functional check of charging point using specialist testing equipment.
