Home EV charging
point installers

We are installation partners of many different charge point manufacturers including; Rolec, Pod Point, MyEnergi, E.O, CTEK, Wallbox, Andersen and many others, ever expanding our reach meaning we are able to provide a wide variety of charging points to suit your individual requirements.
When looking for a home charge-point, you will more than likely choose between two types of units, a tethered unit or a socketed unit - known as a 'wall-pod'.
A tethered unit comes with a cable attached to the charger,
while a socketed unit comes with a socket on the front of the unit, but you will need to provide a cable to ensure it is compatible with your vehicle. We can assist with this if required.

We have various smart chargers and systems available, to allow you as the charge point end user and/or owner to have full remote control and monitoring of one or more of your charge points. All OZEV approved home charge point installations will come as 'smart' units as standard.
Remote features include
-
Switching charger on/off.
-
Setting time periods for charging ie; to use night rate electric.
-
Viewing charge point usage in kwh/time periods/frequency etc.
-
Connecting to third party networks etc.
-
Check current charging status.
Some of our chargers will even monitor your power usage within your property, and only charge your EV when there is enough power to do so, avoiding overload issues and the possibility of having to install a lower power charging unit.
Get in touch for more info or to discuss your individual smart charging requirements.
We recommend that you always have a separate charging cable anyway, even if you decide for a tethered unit, so that you can always charge up on-the-go when away from home.
There are distinct advantages to some types of charge points over others, which may suit your individual installation better, such as weather you would require whats called an 'earth rod' or not - as installing these can be difficult and impractical. Call us to discuss your individual installation requirements today and we will be happy to help.
